Through the transformation of the tie – an accessory historically linked to control, male identity and social role – the Transformation Trilogy investigates the individual as an unstable and ever-changing place. The three works do not represent a linear narrative, even in dates, but three states that we all go through with or without awareness. A gesture that weaves and integrates, a center that holds and orients, a body that changes skin. There is no solution, but an attempt at balance.
