ICONIC ACCESSORIES

Each piece is the result of mutation. Starting from what already exists means taking responsibility for the material, respecting its quality and extending its life. It means working with real constraints and transforming them into design possibilities. Accessories are made from existing materials selected one by one for quality, texture and memory: offcuts, vintage fabrics, archival and deadstock fabrics, old and forgotten garments, some appliqués and pieces of costume jewelry may be rare, historic or salvaged.

Everything is taken apart and reconstructed with intentional interventions that shift the original meaning of the object. The design looks at icons of the past, such as collars, collars, bandannas, reinterpreted in a contemporary key to restore new meaning. Alongside wearable pieces, reinterpreted everyday objects are also born: lined notebooks, textile cases, contemporary accessories removed from the logic of disposability. They too come from discards and stockpiles that refuse oblivion. Common objects, but rethought as lasting presences, not as quick consumption. Each piece is unique or limited.
